Can an Influencer delete a paid post?

Yes (it happens often) but you – the brand – should know about the deletion in advance. You can also lay this out in your Contract.

When you’re signing a contract between a brand and an influencer, don’t forget to cover which of the #Influencer’s social media platforms the content will be published to.

There is no “outreach” to Influencers, there is “hiring”. Think “hiring” instead of “outreach” – DearMishuDad

Should I ask the #Influencer for exclusivity with the Contract? – DearMishuDad answers..

Yes! You can ask that when discussing the terms of the Contract (https://dearmishudad.com/influencer-agreement/)– in this case, it means that the Influencer will not work with competitors.

Should I pay a #retainer to the Influencer?

If you are in love with that Influencers job, then why not? This is generally called making them your brand Ambassador but still keep them external contracors. This way they will lock down their schedule for you, and that’s awesome. It’s a big love story…

Am I allowed to tell the #Influencer exactly what pic and text to post?

Yes, but you are missing the chance for an authentic post that they will be creating for you. They are really professionals, they know what to do. If you give them your post or photo, it will look like an ad and not like an authentic testimony.

Do I need to choose an #Influencer from my same industry?- DearMishuDad answers

Not necessarily. What you need to #focus on is the type of people who follow the Influencer, and what else they might like. For example, my @DearMishu is followed by dog lovers but also by people who are interested in travel, a holistic lifestyle, family, and living in the present. What products would those people like? Get creative!

What are the pitfalls of #Influencer marketing?

Oh so many, I don’t know where to start! The Influencer could be so bad that you may get negative results more than positive.. check your partner carefully, look at their feed at least 12 months back, see what help the Influencer has done for other brands, as well as make sure you are on same page.

(Tip: Start by looking to see if they have real or fake followers…).

β€œCan I use the creative of the sponsored post that the #Influencer was paid to sponsor my product?β€œ

Only if the Contract between you two (https://dearmishudad.com/influencer-agreement/) is says so. Otherwise, ask the #Influencer, they may still agree. No matter what do not use it without their consent because it’s illegal.
